rage not working?

My rage isnt working so good.
i keep clicking the button for it and it doesnt give me rage and the timer goes.
not really sure why, but its kind of annoying because it happens lots of the time now, so i cant rage.
yes i have tried clicking it again while its on timer but still doesnt work.
help?

Were you moving while clicking? That happens to me sometimes... Click or tap the key while moving, the timer starts on the hotkey, but no rage... and I'm stuck waiting on the timer to hit it again.. AND! It uses a charge.

This also happens with potions...

I believe U7 is sort of fixing this by reducing the refresh time on Rage.

Moving is what triggers this as far as I've been able to tell.

If you move continuously forward while hitting rage, it should work fine. It's if you change direction or start moving while the rage animation plays that it's a problem. The rage is cancelled, but the cooldown still starts.

Not 100% sure; I have a human multiclassed Barb and I haven't chain raged in a long time, but yeah, pretty much I think moving interrupts the rage animation so the ability doesn't trigger but it does trigger the CD timer. Thankfully it doesn't appear to subtract the interrupted rage attempt.

So you scream, get a CD but don't actually rage.

Like with many things in the game, it helps to jump while hitting rage.

If you're moving when you hit the button and stay moving just like that, cool.

If you're still when you hit the button and stay still, cool.

Any deviation in the middle of the (what, 2 seconds I think? Dreadfully slow) animation will cause this issue.

Happens constantly. You can still rage while moving (it will make you stop temporarily), the key is to NOT release the move key and restart movement before the rage animation completes. If you do, the re-movement will interrupt the rage and the timer will start.

You can avoid stopping by jumping, then hitting rage and the animation will mostly complete before you land assuming you've got FF on. This will keep you from pausing for too long and getting smashed while you try to rage if you're in a tight spot.

Great advice, and this really works. Like others have said this bug has been around forever and since the devs can't seem to fix it, the players have to adjust.

They did fix this briefly, when the cooldown error was live, but then they did a rollback and now it's broken again.

yea, when the cooldown bug was active I loved annoying people with rage sounds, got about 2 off a second and it was REALLY annoying
