? On XP in epic?

I solo alot, also FTP, and run the same quest over and over , usually to hard, sometime I'll run them till no XP. I do not or should say , never have run with a group befor , ran in a group last night that ran through a quest I have already done several times, but never on epic, I did not receive any XP. Why?

You can only enter epic at level 20, where theres no further progression so it's redundant anyway?

Everyone in the group is level 20. No one in that group has a need for XP.

Its always 0 XP for Epic Quests. Some of them end up granting XP for optionals, but that's unintentional.

Level20 does not beneift from additional XP.

Epics don't give XP.

If you're trying to say the quest was on epic difficulty this time then you've got your answer. If it's a quest that isn't on epic difficulty several things can reduce your xp.

Doing the quest to extreme repetition

Grouping with someone way too high for the level of the quest

Grouping with someone 6 or more lvls above yours means your xp is also reduced to 0.

Unless OP meant to say they ran it on elite? in which case you'd lose out on XP if there was a particularly high level character running it too, so you'd get the XP penalty.

It was on elite sorry for the confussion it was really late and I was the highest lv at 9 the other 3 were 2 players at lv 8 and one at lv 5 still though got no XP and the loot wasn't worth doing. Like I said earlier , I wouldn't no any way I usually run solo but I am going to half to start running with groups cause the higher lv are tough and I think you can get to lv20 quicker running with a group I think! Ya know it's all a learning curve for me , just like using hirelings it was a learning curve there also. I have an AA archer lv 12 very difficult to solo. I brought this new toon temp/ fighter/ rouge to lv 10 doing things I didn't do with my first toon it's better but still gonna half to group so to school I go to learn how to play DDO
