My friend gave me this build, which is exactly the style of play I like. ( Im alredy on 6th with this )
But I'm not too sure about it. So, I need help to make sure and not fail again ( im alredy failed at two charcters 6th because bad builds). About the enhancements, I do not know. Only the requeriments for Tempest I and II Kensai, Drow spell resistance, elven enhancements resistance, trap, search, open locks and status boost. About the tomes, ill eat some +2 tome of supreme ability ( +2 to all status ) at 7th, but MAYBE just that. This build is supposed to use Mithral full plate. Sorry the bad English, but i hope u guys have understand me.

because of 10 con and 16 int i rate this build (on a scale of 1 to 10)

    -1

    some hints:
ranger tempest 1 is not worth splashing anymore. so it would be way better to be a 18 ftr/2 rog (although its hard to keep rogueskills up with ftrlevels).
drow does not have the best synergies with fighter class. a 28 point human/dwarf would be better suited imo.

good starting stats for a human twf fighter 28 points
    16
15 (need +2 dex tome for imp/greater twf)
    15
    10
    8
    8

skills to intimi, balance (crossclass) and umd (crossclass). with the supreme tome you can put the extra skillpoint into jump (from lvl 8 onwards)

if you definately need trapskills we could work something out

    12 ftr/7 rog/1 barb could be worth a try

I like the idea, but if you're building a character for melee combat, that 242 unbuffed hps should be closer to 342 at a minimum. I'm not saying that naked 342 is great, but at least you won't get one-shot killed by half the end game bruisers. There are plenty of threads with advice on doing this, but start with a minimum 6 point investment in constitution and follow up the toughness feat with racial/class toughness enhancements to get it to the right value.

Unfortunately, that simple shift of ability points can break a build idea.

Others will comment on the choice of skills/feats/enhancements far better than I can, so I'm just saying aim for reasonable HP viability on your melee character by increasing the hit points. I like the idea of not going cookie-cutter, especially if you're playing for yourself. Joining PUGs will at least come with minimum expectations like having enough hit points to survive the big hits, and if you don't survive, you 1) cannot hurt things and 2) waste a space in a fellow party member's backpack - and it will work against you.
    Goe ahed... korekt mah spelin'.

Full Plate do not like Evasion and Viceversa.
2 rogue lvs for Evasion and skills points is nice but this kind of build will benefits of it just at lv cap. take it before cap and Reincarnate can be an option?
No one should start with 10 Con.
Inteligence 16 imho is a waste of points
Balance is a nice skills to max.

There is so much wrong here

As people have said, tempest I is no worthwhile anymore. Not saying taking 6 ranger levels is a bad thing, it gives you loads of nice free feats, and a 6 min Rams might is a very nice buff.

2 rogue levels give evasion, you plan to loose that by wearing medium armour. Bad idea, your AC will not be very high anyway, and loosing evasion really hurts you.

    Oh, and get more HP

The idea is good, you and your friend simply does not know enough about the game to make it work

But you should get some pointers here to help you out. I am afraid though, that starting with 10 CON makes your current char fubar.

I dont think drow is a good choice for this type of character, a 32 point ooman would be much better imo. You say you will buy a tome from shop, buying 32 point chars makes sense too

    Oh ****.
Really, im unlucky. First, i made Paladin/Figther Dwarf. It failed because outdated build. ( Screw my guild fórum. )
Second, Monk. Its was not toooo bad, but the monk play boring me.
Now, i finally have Drow ( I like Drows and Dwarfs ) and my build fail AGAIN. Im REALLY dont wanna back to Korthos again, i cant handle it anymore. ARGH! That's it, i ill buy 32 pts character. can ANYONE PLEASE give some GOOD build for TWF combat? I really dont like light armor ( but i do like disarm traps trough )so, somenthing that can use heavy armor. Drow with kophesh's or Dwarf with dwarven axe. For good DPS working, maybe disarming traps and stuff.

    PLEASE.

if you wanna do traps and have evasion (actually quite useful) you have to give up the heavy/medium armors (mithral full plate).

i would recommend a dwarf/human fighter12/rogue7/whatever1 build ( i like 1 barb for sprintboost and some minor rages).

there is some good builds in the fighter forums. have a look there

First of all its good that you came to the forum and asked advice. Also you took it really well and actually listened to what people have to say instead of getting all upset and defensive.

I think a small problem is that you want a lot and only have 28 points to invest in it.

Have you tried making a Dwarven18 ranger / 2 fighter build, ok you won't be able to do traps, but its got pretty much everything else. Also Evasion is a pretty awesome thing to have as others have pointed out.

Good luck on your build no matter which path you decide to go down.

It seems you have problems with multiclass builds. Stay pure!
You like dwarfs? Go for pure fighter or barb. If you buy the 32point characters, you can start with 18STR/16DEX/16CON and swing two axe (15dex is enough if you buy a +2tome). These builds are simple, but very powerfull.

Naah, we're only too happy to help you

You can have a look at this build of mine, to see if that is something you might like:

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=268588

Just reduce starting CHA to 12 for a 32 point character.

The exploiter ranger is still viable, if not as awesome as it was a year ago

    http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=168687

Oh, and drow with pesh isnt really a good idea. A drow's DPS is practically just as good with rapiers, and it free's up a very valuable feat

drow make verry good twf paladins with rapiers i wouldn't do trap skills though the int gimps almost any 28 build

a dwarven tempest/rog 18/2 could do traps just fine though
Virt II makes elujin smile !
