    Default Boxing Butchers?

I had a thought this morning, which is nagging at me, so I thought I'd see if anyone else is interested. It's nothing earthshattering and epic, but still might be amusing.

The idea is to run a party through Butcher's Path, but box our way through. This idea inspired partly by the "naked" runs the level 20s like to do, and partly by the sense of absurdity watching my paladin try to punch oozes in full plate armor after he broke his greatclub back before I finally pulled a muckbane for him.

The basic rules I'm thinking of:

    1) No weapons. Yes, handwraps count as weapons, so no handwraps.
    2) No shields. All other gear is fine, but you must box with your hands.
    3) All classes welcome, including monks. However, no ki attacks allowed, monks must stick to standard unarmed attacks. And probably no more than 1-2 monks per party.
    4) No offensive spells allowed. Buffs are fine. Heals are fine. Summons are probably okay.
    5) Level range probably 4-6. Could go a little higher or lower, as long as one of my level 4/5 characters fits. Others wanting to run their own parties can of course set their own level range.

Probably do a first run on normal to get a feel for things before trying on a harder difficulty.

One could substitute any other quest for Butcher's, as long as you remember that mobs that get DR against bludgeon (like zombies) might be a serious problem. I chose Butcher's because it starts with a B, and it's fairly long and has a little variety in enemies and situations. Durk's Got a Secret could be another interesting one to run with.

So, thoughts. Anyone interested? Dumb idea?

It's been done, in the days before monks and dungeon scaling even. Butcher's Path was still a shortcut out of the newbie area back then.

I had a character that I wanted to see how far it could get without equipping any gear or adjusting hot bars at all. Got to level 4 before I got bored and deleted it. I will say that it was starting to get rough at level 4 and Red Fang was very difficult, Trip and Sunder were quite helpful.
