I Suck at Healing

I am a less than sober dwarf and I also suck at healing. I have also been told that clerics like me are ruining the game for everyone. On the other hand, I am really really good at dispelling and making my allies fall down and/or dance.

Every time someone tells you that you suck, drink. Drinking makes sucking fun!

The thing is people won't know the difficulities the healer might have unless they play one.

90% of buffs can be gotten from items ingame. What sickens me the most are the people who SOLELY rely on casters to give those buffs.

Sure, you can for example get a 7 minute DW from the tangleroot clickie. Tell me how that works out for you when a pug goes bad in part 2 and Kas starts choppin heads.

I love clickies. They are often insufficient when things start going south.

Edit: does deathblock protect against vorpal? Haven't tested it out really. Consider the above example as... well, as an example.

Level 10 cleric here.... get blamed for every death I cannot prevent.... sadly half of these unpreventable deaths are because of Traps...

Edit: does deathblock protect against vorpal? Haven't tested it out really. Consider the above example as... well, as an example.

Easy solution is don't get just 1 pair of deathward clicky goggles for when those times go bad.
It's not like tangleroot is hard or anything especially when you are at the level for shroud as in your example.

not only can do I suck at healing, but I can barely get the blur or haste off before the quest is 1/2 over. I can't repair, can't displace, but I am **** good at lagging, piking, and riding in backpacks!

I can submit recent evidence from Friday nights EATDQ that I don't just suck at healing, but I suck at DDO, I couldn't stay alive or "chill touch" the demon queen for the life of me. Sad Panda

My L9 cleric sucks at healing too.

My main is a level 13 cleric and I suck at healing as well. I do better at not dying but for some reason the guildy who takes off and is halfway across the map is dead by the time I get there. :P
