Just found it humorous. Also, it did have a fair effect on the raid.

Several of the tactics we usually use to neutralize his bite did not work near as well, and we ended up paying for it in pots and shard trinkets.

Did Exhaustion still slow him down?

I just figure it didn't, otherwise I was curious as to why the pot usage.

Lol no on could hit him with exhaustion, from my understanding. Also, Tendon Slice went off very very rarely, which wasn't a game breaker, but still threw a monkey wrench into the plan.

It wasn't terrible, just unexpected. Had Suulomades had epic ward, we would have been boned for our two chests. As it is, Verik', Gnawed, and Encrusted Rings all dropped, as did a +4 CHA tome out of the Suulo chest. So it was an awesome haul, almost like the devs were apologizing for the epic ward. :P

Couple weeks ago, when I was kiting the Shadows in part 2, after Nythirios died and they dropped? Epic Dungeon Token Fragment bags. Toons that had never ran epics had some fragments.

Also, Sully had Epic Ward. All sorts of good times.

I can't imagine how that would have gone if Suuly had been rocking epic ward.

The whole Epic Ward in higher level content is a known issue that should be adressed in the next patch.

I've seen Orthons and such out in some of the Amrath quests on Elite with Epic Ward, but I've never seen a raid boss end up with it. It was scary and funny, in that order.

Yeah Pallai, it took forever to exhaust him. He was also near impossible to tendon slice. Between those two things the main tank was getting wailed on the entire fight, which is where all the extra pots and such came in.
