    Default Renewing monthly access to DDO but NOT LOTRO????

    So, I have been fighting this for a long time now (10 months).
    I do everything I can seem to do on the website to keep LOTRO cancelled from the myaccount.turbine.com screen, but everytime I pay for more DDO time with my credit card, turbine double bills me by slapping a LOTRO month on as well. This has been going on since about 2008 or so on and off whenever i add DDO time, I always immediately cancel the DDO monthly after buying a month, but my credit card always has LOTRO on there... I call and get a run around and disconnected (magically). I ended up getting my credit card # changed because it is ridiculous how turbine has it set up like that and it even seems fraudulent.
    I want to add DDO time, but do not want to give turbine my new CC # because I dont trust the website any longer. How can I do this another way? Can i get game cards safely online, and immediately? Can I completely remove LOTRO from my account without having to play telephone games with turbine during their limited availablility?

    Let me also note I haven't played LOTRO since like 2008 or something.....it hasnt even been installed on this PC since 2009 when I upgraded

    We made changes more than a year ago to stop this type of behavior. The system now requires that you update your card, then select the subscription you want to reinstate. If you're still having issues, please contact the Account Management department for assistance. I am sorry, but we can't assist with specific account issues on the forums, as noted here.

    I am sorry to hear you're having issues with our phones. We did have a period where we were experiencing phone issues, but those have been fixed. Hold times are even fairly short in most cases (though I still don't recommend calling on a Monday). You can also submit a web inquiry to the Account Management department.

    We do accept pre-paid cards. You may be able to find GTCs through PayByCash.com.

    Please do note that charges from Turbine for any game (AC or DDO or LOTRO) will simply appear as charges from Turbine, or Turbine, Inc. These charges will not specify what game they are for. If you are seeing charges that are labeled differently they may not be Turbine charges.
