Windows 7 Run Problem

I got the Lammania client to run fine, but when i tried to log in, the content part of the screen, i.e. the area showing your character in the launch area, was black and it would not load the content when i'm trying to enter Eberon

I'm not sure why you think this as a Windows 7 issue. I am running the game (both live and L-Land) under Windows 7 with no such issue. It sounds more like a graphics driver issue.

Try running the game with the windows vista/experience compatibility mode enabled, it worked for me.

I have been having this exact same problem! (my most recent post on it here). Windows 7/black character area for me, too.

Try running the game with the windows vista/experience compatibility mode enabled, it worked for me.

This sounds promising. How does one do that??

Pretty simple...
right click the llamaland launcher Icon/ shortcut (original file name: dndlauncher.exe) on your desktop or at your lammania installation folder
-Go to "proprieties".
-click at the "compatibility" tab.
-select Windows XP or Vista compatibility mode.
-Click okay.
-run the game!

however, doing this will render you unable to run DDO in the directX 11 mode, which shouldn't matter much anyway.

Hey, this worked!! Or rather, it didn't work at first changing the compatibility mode to "Vista" but I did finally manage to get Lamannia to work after changing the compatibility mode to "XP SP3." Thanks for the suggestion!
