While I'm in some specific areas, my video card overheats A LOT, and most of time, end crashing the entire system, forcing me to reset the PC. Granted, I live on Brazil, and at this time of the year the ambient temperature raises a bit, so I can notice it more often.
My Vcard is a NVidia GeForce 9800 GTX. I play on the "High" definition settings, on DirectX 9. Some places i noticed my crash to be more common includes:
-Explorer zones: Three Barrel Cove, Sands of Menechtarum, Gianthold, Orchard of the Macabre, Vale of Twilight, and all 4 Rever's Refuge explorer zones.
-Quests: A Small Problem, and Redwillow's Ruins.
-City areas: Zawabi's Refuge.
Its like a charm: enter one of those areas, and in 10 minutes the screen goes all light browish, and the PC stops shortly after.
There is something i can do to prevent this thing, that do NOT include "buy a better cooler" (I'm working on it by now)? Changing the def settings to medium or low didn't changed anything.
