Can we still validate and repair

Hi

I have a couple of issues with the game, and from all my google and forum searching most that had similar issues were instructed to perform the validate and repair via the tdm.

But i also see a thread saying we no longer have a tdm, hence why i cant find it eh.

So my question therefore - Is there still a method of validating and repairing the installation?

AFAIK, there's isn't a validate and repair any longer since TDM has been removed. If you think you're having file problems, you could always try an uninstall / reinstall of the game to see if that helps.

You should be able to burn a copy of the install files to DVD (should be able to; there might be a problem with that if you get them from the DDO website).

thankyou for your reply, yes that was what i was afraid off,

i have now reinstalled but have chosen to get the standard resolution instead of the high res this time, for 2 reasons, 1 a quarter of the download time and 2 some guildies said they had had similar issues with crashing etc as me when using the high res.

and tbh i cant say ive noticed any real difference of the quality in game so far so alls good
