Little cross server talking... I never ever ever remember to take my cleric off anonymous before I click on an LFM. So, when I'm putting together a group, I just assume all anons are clerics/fvs until proven different. If they aren't, then I kick them if needed.

I've been playing for 4-5 months now and had no idea I could or could not be anonymous. I'll be checking my settings when next I login.

If you feel this way and send tells to explain clicking a group you are not in the "looking for" catagory of then you are definately not acting like noobsauce. I did not mean to infer that you were sorry if it came across that way.

    A Noob to me is:

    1. Someone who claims to know what they are doing, or refuses direction then screws it up for the rest of the party.

We all are new (whether it be to content just released or stuff some of us are running on autopilot at this point) New does not have to mean noob by any stretch of the imagination. If you don't know say so; We'll figure it out whether you do or not.

Exactly, it's not the end of the world.

-Please stop joining lfms that say "in progress" and/or "know your way" and then asking for help in getting to the quest.

-Please stop joining lfms while anonymous.

-Please stop joining lfms that say "byoh ("bring your own healing" by the way) and not having any pots/scrolls.

-Please stop getting butt-hurt when you get kicked from groups because you didn't match up to the lfm and decided to join anyway.

    Some tips...

-When perusing the lfms you can hover over the quest listed and see the difficulty that is being run.

-When perusing the lfms you can hover over the first box on the left and see who is where (ie: has the quest started yet)

-When perusing the lfms pay attention to the notes the party leader added. They had to actually type them out so those notes are probably important to that party leader.

    - If you don't know the quest - fess up! Most party leaders will be happy to help you if you are honest about it, and those who won't aren't people you're going to enjoy running with anyway.

    - If you don't know the quest - don't do $hit unless you are instructed to do so. Many quests can be ruined by doing something that logically seems very unimportant.

And finally...grow thicker skin and some metaphorical balls.

I would like to offer something about the comments about "In Progress" and BYoH, while your "In Progress" should be self explanatory, alot of people say IP instead. Unless a person knows already they would have no idea what it meant when they tried to join. BYoH is the same way, I get alot of ppl who hit the join button because they had no idea what any of the abbreviations meant.

I wish the LFM filter could be changed so you could only see LFM's for quests you actually have access to. This would eliminate ALOT of people joining groups only to find out they cant get in.

As someone else said previously on this thread... the people the OP would be for, will probably never read it.

This feature is currently implemented, although it is dependant on the leader putting up the correct quest and assuming that the Adventure Comp. didn't bug out.

If everything is working correctly, players that doesn't have access to the relevant adventure packs will get a big BUY NOW button next to the LFM, so if they filter the quests to only the ones that they can join, P2P quests won't show up.

Ah, my personal experience was at lower levels, Deleras for example, people would join then run to House J then say they didnt have xpac and drop group.

But the bestest lulz is when I start the group, post all that in the LFM and then arrive at the quest only to find out *I* didn't pick it up.

Or when I'm leading first timers to the entrance, announce "FF on!" as we're nearing the jump at mephits and then disappear in the abyss, still wearing my striding boots.

uggg completely unrelated but I hate it when I switch from my 16 wiz/rog to one of my lowbies and I walk sooooo slow, i cant just dive of cliffs (ie. harbor) without worry I actually have to walk everywhere...I don't have reconstruction or just under 300 hp,etc, etc.

Please don't join LFMs that say 'Know your puzzle' and then drop group after part 2 and send tells complaining about "elitist pri**"

Please don't have your Guildies send tells to continue to complain after you are squelched.

Please dont call other players "a**" (unedited) in your own lfm after you realize your a piking POS.
