    Default Heal and Heighten

    Hello,

I have two issues here with the Heal spells and the Heighten Spell Metamagic.

    First, Heighten Spell affects Heal.
This makes sense when used on undead as they have to make a save.
But I am using it much more often on allies and there it bothers me that I have to pay the cost of heighten even though they dont make a save.
    That are 15 wasted SP.

It is annoying to turn on heighten and often other metamagics too to cast offensive spells and then having to turn it off again to not waste spell points in healing.

I noticed that you are making a fix for undead resisting to benficial spells and wondered if you could do something similar to make Heal not heightened when cast on allies.

Second, while the unheightened spells show the correct DC, their heightened counterparts display a lower number (like if the spell level was 0 instead of 9).
I have yet to verify whether this is a display error or a broken application of heighten.

People have asked for the ability to only metamagic some spells for a long time now...but it's still a good idea. /signed

In the past they have said this was deliberate...but I agree its annoying. My Clerics/FvS have heighten on for everything but boss fights because they are offensive casters. This means I wast SP every time I cast heal. It's annoying.

We should be able to create spell sets, like weapon sets. If we drag a single spell to our bar, it would work as it does now. But, if we drag a spell set down, it would work according to the spell set, overriding all toggles.

So, for example, You could create sets like:

    1) Heal, Empower Healing (Spell will always cast as an Empower Spell + Heal, ignoring other toggles)
    2) Blade Barrier, Heighten Spell, Empower Spell, Maximize Spell (Spell will always cast with these metas on, even if the toggles for them are off)

Then you might leave your cure spells on the bar the old way so you can adjust their power as needed and as your SP allow.

This kind of flexibilty would allow a lot more fun and effectiveness for clerics, fvs, sorcs, and wizards who like to think and play with strategy and forethought.

You are right, spell sets would be even better.

I would rather have a completely unheightened heal on my bar than toggling everytime i have to heal someone. When someone's health drops rapidly there is no time to toggle metamagics.

So please, either make Heal unaffected by Heighten like the other Cure spells or give us the option to make spell sets.

When I play a wizard or another class that memorizes spells I would like to choose what metamagics each spell is using when I memorize it, like in PnP.

For sorcerers and other classes that do not memorize their spells I would like to see an check box option of some kind (control + right-click on hot-bar icon click to open maybe) which lets me check box style select which meta-magic's I'm using when I click that icon. I would then have multiple copies of one spell on my hot-bar and could pick whether I want it heightened etcetera. Although as a PnP purist for anything other than quicken I'd like a slight increase in casting times for sorcerers etcetera taking this option.
