One of my favorite weapons in my first year or so of play was a Shocking Burst Battle Axe of Greater Ooze Bane. Made lots of little oozes (especially if you picked the lightening splitable ones) and generally broke before the oozes in the first battle were dead.

Then there was the docent I got that was halfling required. I figure i just had to find an appropriate sized "slot" on the halfling and shove it in.

At the risk of suggesting you weren't being honest I've never once heard of that happening since the game appeared. You're saying they allowed the game to produce an item that was absolutely excluded from a particular race but also race required for that same race?

Dunno if anyone still has any screenies, but when the game first come out there were all kinds of rr stuff that was messed up. Full plate that was wf only, docents that were human only,, etc. I've had I dunno how many under water action items wf only. Back in the day though, those were useful, as wf were able to drown.

And we only had 4 Enhancements!! To get a new one, we had to swap them out at lvl!! And we had to use enhancements for our poison resists and all the rest of our wf "immunities"!

ya i can remember docents with other race requirements on them. and i can remember seeing chainmail that was rr wf i think that was probably the first bugged item i saw which is why it stuck in my head.

I pulled a proof against poison belt rr wf only. I wish I still had it.
