New to this server

Im a veteran from Argonessen but was referred by a friend to come join her guild over here. I just wanted to see how the overall atmosphere is on this side of the game. I hear theres a lot of colorful personalities on this server. Any advice is always pleasent to hear. It does suck though going from having gear spec'd toons to a 28 pt build again but I like a new beginning.

While we're famous for our Drama, and while I think most of the veterans who are inclined to have stepped on one another's toes have repeatedly done so at this point, the main dynamic these days is between the newer players (and guilds) and the veterans, who have mostly set aside personal differences, over the last year.

I count myself among the veterans. I mentioned to someone earlier that if I'd worked as hard at school, I'd have had my J.D. at this point. As it is, I think I know the orientation and class of every mob's spawn point in every quest through Gianthold. Despite this, I was lectured to in Rainbow in the Dark by someone who's probably been in the game for a whole year and who has one capped character.

Okay, I'd asked his advice about something I already knew just because I wanted to hear him pontificate.

One of the better servers around, I think. Not really sure as to why, but when compared to Argonnessen, Khyber shines. Just moved away from that cess pool of a server myself. I'm more and more inclined to agree that the influx of idiots and jackasses go there simply because it is first on the server list.

That being said, this server isn't without it's idiots and jackasses. Back in the day, I'm sure I fit both labels, probably still do to those that remember me.

I guess my journey to Khyber is for mixed reasons, one being to join an exotic guild to say the least that a friend started. I've also lost a little bit of honor for a silly act over on Argonessen and embarassed myself infront of my "family guild" so this is kinda like a fresh beginning. If you see me I'll be playing on a 28pt build dwarf named Pommo(Ftr) or Gandulaugh(clr). Best wishes to everyone and hope to see you guys in game if nothing else I'd like to see the famed drama this server so boasts about.
