This coming from a ranger...
Also, "kill stealing" in this game is not viable. DDO is party based and only people in your party are in the instance with you. It is not like you are wandering around a common area where anyone can come along and attack the mob you are fighting.
EDIT: Wait... maybe I am confused... the title and message don't seem to mesh to me... I'm guessing a lack of information is at fault here. If so, I apologize.
Erm, that's *exactly* what you have in the Mabar Graveyard event ...
I was only in there very briefly last night, but I had both a kill stolen from me, and stole a kill from someone else.
There ya go, hope that helps
EDIT : the tech is obviously working pretty well, which potentially opens the door for huge wilderness areas Ã* la LOTRO, and other permanent settlements than Stormreach, and mounts, and whatnot -- which might potentially be quite cool

- I Was a Mournlander ... - Keeper/Mournlands/Lamannia/Ghallanda
There's already a survey available to give such input. New threads for each and every person's gripes are unnecessary, when we have a more direct method of contacting the devs.
Although since you'd made this public, what's to stop me as a sorcerer from tossing my weakest fireball, and leaving someone to clean up the mess? Then I get all the kill loots, according to this "First Aggro gets Lewtz" Method.
but that also means only 20s get loot ...
its unbalanced that way ..
what they need to do is make it a group mechanic like guild renown ... everyone in the group gets a chance at the drop regardless of if they hit the mob or not .. this encrouages raid groups for the event which are needed for the raid part fighting the draco litch.
as the event went on they drastically increased the spawn rate ... and let me tell you ... while casters still kill stole .. there was more then enough to go around ..
but that being said .. its unbalanced if a caster and cleric get 100000 ingredients and a fighter/monk/barb/melee of the month build .... get 10.
If I remembered correctly (I had so much fun that I almost didn't see the general chat) devs said the Mabar Event already had that mechanic, but like frostmarrow skeletons not vulnarable to fire, was bugged and will be fix for the live upcoming.
Taking the time of the event (two hours or so) and the amount of undead, is the best choice for this kind of thing: you hit, you get.
But also will be fine if they make mobs drop collectibles to all the people that hit the mob (for bosses this is specially good) and a remake of the distribution too. Maybe low level mobs in the front of Delera's and high level in the back.
I don't have any satisfaction from kills lower my level but also I don't want to die from the undead of someone else in my lowies.

Post a link yourself, or you're trolling my post. You know how to use the search function, and the Lamma forums are easy enough to look through.
Or.. oh wait.. its a sticky.
