    Default Opportunity/Fortification Q's

Am I missing something, since lately I see rogues posting all over that after this goes live, they're still going to be picking up slippery mind/crippling strike? Correct me if I'm wrong:

If this ability stacks (3% dbl stk/10% fort bypass), why wouldn't all serious dps rogues go 1 Imp Evasion/3 Opportunity with Skill Mastery taken instead as desired? that's +9%/-30%.

    - You don't have the will save to back up Slippery Mind in necessary quests
    - You can't Crippling Strike anything you/your party wouldn't otherwise slaughter, especially when you're wailing Rad IIs around
    - Skill Mastery is a decent pick up for meeting UMD plateaus such as 39 for heal
    - Wouldn't -30% fort bypass skeleton/construct fort? (125-30 = 95% fort (I'm probably way off on this part))
    - If the above is possible, why not pick up the new precision feat for -60%? Who cares what your normal damage would be if you could sneak attack virtually anything.

Even if the fort reduction doesn't break non-sneak damage monsters, it would help land more sneak damage vs. 50%/75% fort enemies in addition to 9% double strike chance.

Right? I'm trying to make sense of some of this.

Apparently it used to be able to be taken 3-4 times but can know only be taken once on lama.

edit1: apparently precision also halves sneak attack damage.

Eladrin confirmed that it is only intended to be able to be taken once.

Its still going to be good, if it can only be taken once. Wasnt it planned to be just doublestrike chance ? Whats this -10 percent fort yuore talking about

Now you bypass 10% Fortification as well.

I hear this lets you crit undead.

Not that you can sneak attack them. Just crit.

Yeah, undead and constructs have sneak attack immunity, so their fortification only stops crits.

Still, critting undead and constructs...that's gonna be nice. ^^

The feat can be taken only once, that is why they added the -10% fortification to it. So it is 3% double strike, -10% fortification.

You still can not sneak attack undead and constructs, you can crit them (at least that is how it works on the test server).I have no idea how this works on shroud portals.

    Apparently different fort modifiers stack:
    -10% and -25% will stack to -35%

The new precision feat still looks weak, since it reduces sneak attack damage by 50% too.
