    Default TWF questions

Okay, I thought I understood this but I'd like a reclarification if I could...

With the new way TWF works..

Does weilding 2 Vorpal Khopesh yield a signficant greater chance of vorpal proccing? the same goes for Smiters, Paralyzers, disrupters etc..

This of course assumes you take TWF, ITWF and GTWF... if not what are some of the best combos (say in Khopesh) up till ML 12 where GS can be wielded?

    Thanks in advance.

twf off hand no feat proc = 20%
    with twf feat = 40%
    with itwf feat = 60%
    with gtwf feat = 80%

so with all the feats, you should have 1.8x more vorps than a player using a single weapon
If you want to know why...

    The short answer is yes.

The long answer is that while the physics check for hitting is now all based on the main weapon, they still check for stuff such as enemies relative to your position, weapon reach, the necessary weapon procs etc. This is why double assassinate still works.

Ah okay that makes sense now.. I thought it was more complicated than that but it's really not.. so if I had a Vorpal in my right hand and a paralyzer in my left (cuz I cant seem to get my hands on a ML 10 Vorpa) I'd have a normal chance to vorpal with main hand and atm (60% chance of proccing a paralyze) with the off hand. Sweet thanks!

IIRC your offhand weapon has a 20% chance to swing every time you swing your main hand. For each lvl of TWF you take, it adds 20% to that chance. So with TWF, ITWF and GTWF you'll attack with your offhand 80% of the time you swing with your main hand.

The only modifier in that swing is your str is only worth half for damage on your off-hand. Other than that, its a normal swing with whatever weapon is in your offhand. So with all the feats and 2 vorpal weapons, you'll vorpal 80% more often than with a single weapon.

Edit: err... looks like someone beat me to it....
