Auto self targeting of Radiant Servant

Don't know if this has been posted about already, if it has - apologies.

The 2 Radiant Servant spells, currently only cast if you have already targeted yourself, unlike other spells that you can only cast on yourself e.g. Nightshield or Shield.

I don't know if there is any particular reason for this or not, if there is I would be interested to know what it is.

As a Cleric, having to target yourself to cast a spell/aura that only can be cast on yourself can be a little frustrating, especially given it has a slow cast anyway.

What would be the chances/likelihood of having this changed so that you can just cast the spell without having to target yourself - it would be very much appreciated by me at least and hopefully by other clerics also.

Devs posted they fixed this shortly after U6 went live when many people complained.

Well, they said it was in the build for Update 7, but last I heard it wasn't fixed on Lamania.

That's odd, since my Radiant Servant hasn't had to self-target once on Llama for either burst or aura.

Dont currently have a RS but am in the process of planning/tring one. What bugs are still around that they havent managed to fix on lam?

According to the feedback I've seen, there are several problems with RS that are still not fixed.

If anyone is able and willing to test, could you please take a look at this thread (especially post #9 where I link a Dev response long ago) and report your findings somewhere?
