    Default Rogue Armor

I'm not initiating this thread to create yet another debate on str vs. dex based rogues.

I'm approaching endgame and farming gear/mats as I go. However, every last list I look at contains armor that slices off my current dex modifier. At L16, I have a +11. Rapiers, finesse, blah, blah. Yes, I have health, and toughness, and minos, and blah, blah. Greensteel rapier situation...check. I know what I need for that piece. I also have a decent map of support gear, and epically upgradable pieces...just not a chestpiece

My question is this: Is there any end game rogue armor that supports a high dex modifier?

I'd even settle for a solid robe....I currently use deathblock/*insert greater resist here* robes, as needed, hotbarred for midbattle/pretrap switching. But, alas, all the endgame robes are for casters....

Everyone has an opinion on build, I get that, fair enough, but.....what's the armor situation for high dex/finesse rogues?

    DragonTouched vestments/robe
Icy Raiments (if your AC supports it)
    Enlightened Vestments
    White Dragonscale Robe

I'd go for the dragontouched robes from Reavers Refuge.

With the runes collected from the quests there you can get some nifty effects on them like resistance +5, deathblock, healing amplification, awesome guards etc.

I've got leather armor with +5 resist, +20% incoming healing and destruction on my rogue multiclass.

Chech here for all the possebilities http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=162707

To get the set you wanted can be a tiresome grind, but Update 7 should fix this a bit as the runes will all be identified and passable in the chest, so no more random lottery.

U mean that (for example) u can loot an eldritch rune:greater false life and not a simple eldritch rune?
    How it'll work?
This fix is still available on ghallanda?

I'm going a little bit off topic... so i ask just another thing... I played yesterday Prey on the hunter, looted 3 tempest and molten 'em into a sovereign, but i didn't advice those things... maybe it works only in looted runes? and (if not) how i can know in advance what a rune will add to my armor?

Just wear a Robe/Outfit and +8 Armor Bracers.

Or DT Shroud if you have something in your bracers.

I find getting a useful end game AC to be very difficult.

So better to concentrate on what else the armor can give you.

DT Robes can give some nice benefits.

Before that, most of my Dex chars wear fearsome of something.

Personally, I think a Rogue in a party should not need AC, as his goal should be to never have agro.
Cause if you have agro, you lose out on your SA damage which is probably your main source of DPS.

Of course sometimes you will get agro, but try to find ways to shed it quickly.

Blus and Displacement are very good at end game. Fearsome occasionally works.

Invisibility is a great way to delay agro from most monsters.
    And then there is stealth.

But the DT armor can have great defensive enhancements on it.
Like +5 resistance, which I think is more useful than AC at end game.
IMO Spell resistance is still useful at end game.

Something with heavy fort, and Greater False Life.
greater resist items, are good even with evasion. Fire and Acid being very common.
And Orthons' wrist cannon is a sonic attack.

I say concentrate of defenses other than AC, because it is easier.

One note is that a moderate AC is useful for favor runs. In fact, I find solo favor runs frustrating for my Rogue due to a lack of even a moderate AC.
But easy for any char with even a 30 AC.
I gave up a life of farming to become an Adventurer.

If you can get a meaningful AC (60ish unbuffed) with Icy Raiments, then that is your best choice.

If not, make a good DT robe/vestment.
