Live event in Delera's Graveyard this Thursday

More serious question - I presume that the Update 7 release event will be on during US-centric times for obvious reasons. Will there be any chance for those of us living in other time-zones to participate in events like this and have a chance at the fun? If it only happens once, could it be scheduled for a Saturday evening, so that most people have a half-decent chance of making it if they're willing to play unusual hours?

I'll be playing around in the new live event in Delera's Graveyard this Thursday. Some of the other devs may be in at various time too - details to come later. So come by and check out the live event with us! The more, the merrier!

Thursday ~2:30am? Fairly bad timing for european players... Fairly nasty to try and stay up till that event and ~2h for clearing it means it would end around the time I would normally wake up for the work >.<

And I'm working on some neat prize ideas for those attending. More details on that in the coming days.

Uhm... I suppose you'll gain same prizes while it's on live server (w/ event timed, so european people can actually do it while it's evening instead of past midnight), or give european players chance to gain it while doing it around ~4:30pm GMT...

Just going by the PAX interview, it sounds like it will happen randomly throughout the day while it is an active event on the live servers.
Hopefully they can reveal more today and tomorrow about their plans.

AS long as my math is correct, that would be 6:30 PM for you, since Eastern time is currently -4 GMT.

Im still confused about the timezones, and am/pm.

Agreed - I'd like to see them go till midnight or 1:00am Eastern if possible (come on guys - just sleep in then work from home on Friday and put the late hours Thursday on your Friday timesheet. I'm sure your HR people will be ok with that, right? )

Hmm, that just means your body is so used to caffeine that it doesn't affect you like it would someone who isn't adapted to it's effects. Not that it's a bad thing, just don't get addicted.

Dunno at this point if I'll be on or not, if we get an external drive to clean some of the junk off the wife's computer we may be there.

As I am watching the progress of the download. The counter(% and bytes downloaded) goes up and down. It will jump from 18% back to 17%. And the file size downloaded goes back and forth. The progress has been jumping up and down for the last few percentage points, ever since 15%. Then it all of a sudden jumps ahead 3-5k Kb every couple seconds. Has the server for downloads had problems? Why is it acting so erratically?
