They had the Mabar running when I stopped on and tried it out, got hit by a couple of frostmarrow skeletons..ok, I hit them first, but no bb was working at the time. When I went to switch to my FvS, they changed it back to normal House J/graveyard, so not betting on bb being activated...

thanks Thoon, but would be nice to be able to use it in the outer area too, although I understand that might be a bit laggy...but would help clerics get the kills for any special items that might drop from undead

This was impressive to see, but I went around killing and collecting stuff, but there was nothing I could do with it. The collection point required motes, and nothing gave me a single mote. I found out that another pumpkin was supposed to exchange collectibles for motes, but it didn't work... even after changing instance.
As I said, it was impressive, but it reminded me of all the frustration I had when I tried vanguard, and LOTRO.
The collector that gives motes is turned off when the quest is turned on apparently.

16 folks allowed in-instance, though no auto-party, so relied on general chat, which is in that case also instanced per-quest.
companions and undead summons failed to trigger both in quest and outside (outside was expected. perhaps in-quest shares similar code, but was unexpected). 'normal' summons did function.
brought a lvl 13/2 wiz/rog toon, ended up twice in the 9-14 range for the quest.
found that chain missiles did not fire, requiring first spamming disintegrate or fireball in the outside area to activate mobs as they are initially untargettable via tab (sidenote on those: the shadow-dragon's immune to force. Didn't have an acid queued up to check, and didn't think to test with cone of cold. PMs are not after all, heavily evocation focused normally).
every level range represented in the outer area led to quite a bit of chaos... perhaps similar tech as that used for the quest would be called for there.
noted a very short timer on outside mobs being 'leashed' and disappearing as the spawn frequency was cranked up.
had a fun time, I stopped after the second chance to go into the summoning chamber
the only thing that i found that i think is seriously broken is... the docent of shadow min levle 8 has night shield caster level 14 and a colorless slot just wait till that goes live
the mote turn ins seem to have a easy amount of time getting and was not to hard to do so unlike the ice games for some classes/levels
The event was pretty fun!
The only problem was communicating.
General chat was a mess, I formed a channel for the 20's but not everyone joined. (cause I'm smelly)
Considering the amount of chatter of just a small population, the live event will be a real mess unless there is some coordination ahead of time.

This looks like an awesome event. I had a lot of fun and the items that you can craft/collect look like they will be useful at all aspects of the game.
Thank you for giving us an event that did not rely on our ability to jump![]()
Good to note. Anyone figure the real top end then, since there were quite a few simultaneous instances discussed, at least? (Left after the second run-through. It's a decent enough demo for the tech, but just wasn't in the right frame of mind for the other toons I've got over on Lam, and the PM loosing half the capabilities... well, lets just say it'll be nice when it's more polished.)
Edit: will note that the new collectible setup was very very nice indeed, and I for one would love to see that one ported over to the other systems as replacements.
Event was fun!
Lv12 Drow Rogue - needed to be in a cluster when spawn - however was able to sneak by undead with ease.
The raid was kinda slow moving - but am sure that will be changed by the time it is live.
Love the pumpkin heads and skele heads! new Elder Fire Elemental and other monsters awesome! Am glad to see new an improved monster looks!
Coffee.... seriously! feeding coffee to halflings after 7:30 anywhere should be considered a crime against EVERYONES sanity! That and other potions....
