Please change composite plating red dragonscale skin.

Im approximating 13 million plat for my suit (roughly 650k in plat or tradeables) and im saddled with a HIDEOUS skin. Please Please Please change this. I dont know a single person who finds it acceptable. For one of the most sort after armors in the game I think a new design is worthy - not a repackaged lvl 2 random docent look.

I completely and totally agree with you mate. I have a good friend on Cannith server who is a Warforge Wizard. He and I worked for like 2-3 months to get him his Red Dragonscale Docent, and he has Composite Plateing.

I was soo happy for my mate when he finally got 20 Red Scales! But when he put the Docent on I was horrified

The Red Dragonscale Docent appearance (mesh) on Composite Plating is literally a re-skin of the Starter Docent that all Warforge Wizards get when they arrive in Korthos. Its a funky waistcoat with massive shoulder pads, and is frankly pretty butt looting, lol.

I am pretty sure that all Warforge who have Composite Plating and a Red Dragon Docent are pretty unhappy with its appearance - So - Turbine Art Department can you please consider applying the Red Dragon Scale Skin to a different Composite Plating Mesh. Thanks!

Nick Robinsonchia - if possible can you please take some Screenshots of your Warforge in the Red Dragon Docent with Composite Plate, and post them here to show everyone just how dreadful it looks.

And if you have a spare free moments - roll a new Warforge Wizard - start him with the Warforge Wizard Gear, and
take some screenshots of the Starter Docent, and post them here too so we can compare the two docents and have a good laugh!

Also - Turbine please consider with the forthcoming Armour Appearance Customisation options giving us tools and methods to fix issues like this ourselves - such as changeing the Mesh and Skin of armours. Thanks!

And... this is ridiculous - you should not have to take a Feat just so your character doesnt look straight out of Futurama.

Armour Appearance Customisation options are badly needed in DDO to stop situations like this. A player should not have to compromise his / her build and gear set up for cosmetic reasons. I am totally frustrated by this!

The recent armor appearance additions don't correct this situation in my mind either. This is supposed to be epic armor. To simply re-use a starter skin for the most difficult armor to obtain in the game is just plain LAZY.

I've seen warforged running around with this, and I feel sorry for them.

Give this armor a decent skin/mesh/whatever. Please respond.

I know this doesn't fix the red dragon on composite issue itself, but I would like the option to be able to disable armor graphics completely and look just like I do without a docent.

For those who actually care about showing what armor they have, the red dragon on composite needs a new look. I agree it is atrocious.

Completely Agree. Composite Red Dragonscale looks like it was make in 15 seconds by some dev.

The legs are good - but the chest piece just says "Power II Docent!!!"

all the other loooks for redscale armors the owner is proud to wear except for the composite docent. i would like to outfit a wf monk with a set but will not as it currently appears. covering with a kit is not an option with all the work that goes into making it.

I swapped out toughness briefly on my WF Barb and adamantine body looks awesome.

The armour kits look great on addy body too but awful without it.

It just makes absolutely no sense how this kind of thing is quite obviously ignored or never even tested.

I want reds for my ranger, as will get a good AC boost combined with Grim's or chat ring. Was hoping they'd use the same skin of the base dragon scale (white for me, which looks awesome on composite)

Considering I'm using DT now, I suppose its a side step in the fugly department. Not adverse to getting cosmetic armor, but would have liked to show off my reds, ya know.

Mithril and adamantine are really very nice looking and match the helm, while composite is pretty ugly & not even same color of red as the helm.
