Default Elven AA and Ranger DS

Is it possible to have, at the same time, both ELVEN Arcane Archer and RANGER Deepwood Sniper?

Nope, the elf arcane archer still counts as a ranger PrE. It would be nice though!

It certainly would, however it would lead to a slippery slope for later on when other races get racial PrE's. Dwarves are supposed to get dwarven defender, which will count as a fighter PrE, and the ability to stack dwarven defender with Stalwart defender or kensai would probably be too much.

There is NO WAY they'd be able to afford the APs.

The feat and AP requirements for most of this stuff would prevent too much "double-dipping." Regarding balance, how is this any worse than my Tempest1/Kensai 2?

Maybe, maybe not. Depending on how many of the requirements overlap on the PrE's would come into play. Your Tempest/Kensai pulls AP requirements from two seperate classes, depending on how the dwarven defender PrE (just an example) is implemented, it may share some of the same Ap costs of another fighter PrE. Allowing you to take both PrE lines to max.

As a side note, they are also going to set it up (from what I read) so that you can not have dwarven Defender PRE, and Paladin DoS spec at same time. This makes me a sad panda.

Default DS- good crit range/kensai 2 awesome

The closest you can get to the kinda build you want with DS is 12 lvs fighter /kensai 2. The arrow dmg isn't all that great except for having slayer arrows which you don't see till almost end game . Get a good bow shoot opposite effects try to incorporate manyshot then focus on the melée TWF-GTWF and kensai pres. There is enough there to build a pretty decent toon. Triggering a bow has some! And I mean some! Advantages , but the real battle takes place in the trenches, so arm yourself with the best melée build you can.
