I found out, in my case, that after I uninstalled Comodo firewall, it left some registry entries behind. Clearing those out with CCleaner allowed me to get the installer working. Just as an fyi for those of you who had comodo.

I found out, in my case, that after I uninstalled Comodo firewall, it left some registry entries behind. Clearing those out with CCleaner allowed me to get the installer working. Just as an fyi for those of you who had comodo.

Just one of the many reasons I don't recommend software firewalls like that or Zone Alarm. Stay away from them and just use the hardware firewall on your router
