Feat swapping:
Some folks were worried that the standard feat swap available from Fred the Mind Flayer wouldn't work for rogue special feats and that a Lesser Reincarnate would be required to pick up Opportunist.
I tested it last night and the standard feat swap works fine. I was able to buy a shard from the Store, talk to Fred, and swap Slippery Mind for Opportunist. When you put Slippery Mind in the "Old Feat" box, Opportunist appears in the list of possible new feats.
Enhancement changes:
Skill enhancments, as announced, are changing names and AP requirements. So Rogue Skill: Hide I is becoming Improved Hide I. This works strangely. If you have a skill enhancement that's changed names, when you log in after U7, you won't lose it. Those APs you used to get it will still be consumed. You will still keep any enhancements that had those enhancements as a prereq. In other words, if you had Assassin III, which requires Rogue Skill Hide II and Rogue Skill: MSII, before U7, you'll still have Assassin III after U7. But if you look at your enhancement list, the prereq enhancements, Hide and MS, won't be listed.
If you reset all your enhancements, you'll get all your points back and can then put them into Improved skill enhancements. You'll end up with 2 extra APs if you take all the same enhancements.
So the good news is that you don't lose anything when the update goes live. There's no requirement to respec other than picking up the two extra APs. It just looks strange to see your enhancement list completely missing your skill enhancements even though the points are used up.
