Could somebody who has half-elf and vet status test this? e.g. start a toon with 12wis, and +1 to wis at level 4, and use the free swap to try to switch it to monk dilettante.

It works. The (Base + Level ups + Tomes = Final stat) is what counts for taking a dilettante feat.

They were working on lammaland the morning of the update.

If you had already traded the dilettante feat for another feat you can’t go back. I tried it on the character that spawned this thread and couldn’t get the dilettante feat back.

Can you even do that with feat swaps? I though you were restricted to the stuff you qualified for at the level you got the feat slot.

BAB/level based stuff yes, stat stuff no. (You can swap out whatever you took at level 3 for dodge, say, so long as you meet the 13 dex req at time of switch. You can never put a feat requiring 8 BAB, such as imp crit, in that slot.)
