I tried to see if you could swap Dilettante feats, but does not give that option at Fred the Mind-Flayer.

Anyone else try this?

Definatly something to forward to the Dev's or to Customer Service... these are exactly the kinds of problems they are beta testing for imho.

Common sense says WAI...it's pretty much a background feat you get for free.

Certainly hope you can swap it later as they have said these will be enhanced by enhancements later on...we wont even know how at creation...

You can swap out Ranger FE ... thats basically an inherent hatred feat you get for free ...
You used to not be able to swap out WF body feats but you can do that at Fred now...

I would bug report (inform them) and let them decide.

It's my understanding, unlike the Human Bonus Racial Feat, the Half Elf Racial Dilettante is not going to be swapable, it is the reason why they have different colored titles for the feats in selection. Yellow and White are swapable, Purple is permenent.

Hmmm, I dunno. But it seems to me that if my WF can have plates installed or ripped out, (the various body feats), at a later date, you should be able to change out the Dillettante Feats at a later time. Especially if you didn't quite qualify for the one you really wanted at creation, but can at a later date.

It's an educated guess more than anything, it's something in a different color catagory and can't swap. Nothing official backing it.

The color is purely to help you spot the feats that can fit on that slot, since you can't choose other feats in your Dilettante slot and can't place a Dilettante feat in a normal feat slot.

I've always thought the colour just relates to the source ie white general, yellow class and purple - racial.

Should be exchangeable IMO, especially since they will be expanded upon later

It's actually a little more important for Dilettante to be switchable than other feats, because the primary benefit of Dilettante is going to be qualifying for various enhancement series that haven't been released at all yet.

Can you even do that with feat swaps? I though you were restricted to the stuff you qualified for at the level you got the feat slot.

Is this fixed? Also, would tome stat enhancements count towards stat requirements when we swap dilettante feats later? i.e. suppose I start with wis 10, then ate a +3 tome at level 11. Could I at that time swap to a monk dilettante?

I hope so, this is what I plan on doing.
