P2P to F2P

Ok... I used to play this game even before there was such a thing as F2P... I payed the some 15$ a month to play this wonderful game... However, I stopped due to school and other activites and stopped paying. Once i heard that it became F2P i was extremelly excited. So i try to log into my old P2P account and it takes me to my characters and it wont let me log into them... I was extremely disappointed... So i go to DDO and start a new pay (free) subscription and that seems to be the only way i can play... However this means that i lost everything that i had worked for before i stopped playing... IS THERE ANY WAY TO BE ABLE TO PLAY ON MY OLD CHARACTERS?!?!?!?

- I can create a character... But not log into any of my previous characters on my old subscription, which is now said to be a premium accnt.

Unless your old characters are all Drow, Warforged, Monks, or Favored Souls (which you wouldn't have, being from pre-F2P), you should be able to use some of them.

Actually they are all Drow... But it shouldnt matter because i have a lvl 9 on my account that has more than 400 favor

All players that go VIP (paying monthly sub) and don't pay for whatever reason are downgraded to Premium. You can upgrade back to VIP or you can get points and pay to get whatever it is that is not making your characters playable whether that be extra character slots or races/classes.

Ya, but I want to make sure that if i do spend the Turbine Points that it will solve the problem... If its a waste of money that would just straight up suck

Okay, but if it's been too long, it may not have registered them as unlocked.
I'm not sure, but if you pay 1 month and log into your char with the favor (and make sure to talk to Nyx again) it should unlock them after you downgrade again.
Or, buy Drow in the store for what should be a guaranteed work and will unlock Drow on all the other servers for your account, too.
