Sir Pointsalot gives you 1000 TP if you just.. go find him. Which isn't tough.

The default bandwidth in the Lamannia Updater is probably configured for 64kb/s as it is designed to work in the background. But you can change that by clicking on the icon [v] which opens the updater options and choose there to go up to 512kb/s ... then it only takes some minutes, considering your provider will give you that bandwidth.
