    Default Aiming

Please Note on the face of it this may seem a nerf..but its not.

Its a quality of life issue.

    Problem.

Every mob in the game regardless of class is somehow trained in sniping and has better eye site then hawks when it comes to ranging (not with spells) up from afar.

    Solution.

Match the mobs ranged skill WITH the class..no more Hobgoblin Shamans crack shotting players from under ladders with 100% hit rate and accuracy.

Add an "Aim" mechanic to the mobs so that they gain ranged attack to there class (Shamans for example would have a low hit rate due to the fact they are not Rangers/Archers

and please could the shots/arrow/projectile's not land on us all the time (allow for a near miss aiming on failed shots) that would give more immersion to the game.

I could go for this in a way. Instead of being able to auto target an enemy you actually have to put your targeting circle on them and then you can lock them in. Add this with a RoF improvement for bows and non repeating crossbows. Increase the RoF for all enemies except Sulatar Elves who already fire at least twice as fast as players. This would also increase damage taken by rangers being targeted by several enemies at once and would severely hamper a rangers ability to clear a room alone by manyshot and allow changes to the cooldown timer of the manyshot ability. Just changing this alone would be horrible but it could be worked into a ranging change that would make things better overall. Oh and as a bonus could make it more difficult for a ranger to tear up folks in pvp esp if they could not lock in their target until they enter the arena so bonuses all around.

[edit] I realize you meant this for enemies but I doubt this would have as much of an effect on them as it could be used as part of an improvement for us.

Did you notice the dice roll when u attack? The same thing happens when monsters attack. What you suggest is essantially to roll twice. In other words what you want is already there. Dnd is kinda polished.
