    Default Rogue using Crossbow AA style?

    What is the viability of mixing Arcane Archer elf with rogue and say a level of wizard and maybe fighter for the extra feats. Anyone ever tried this yet? Is it a good idea or no? I am interested in it for the imbue's on missiles and possibly assassin with the extra int damage and mainly dex. Well that an sneak attack damage for when stuff get too close. Does crossbow and missile imbue work? By crossbow I mean repeaters.

    AA doesn't work with Crossbows.

    Ok wow that was a quick let down... ah well onto something else then. Thanks for the tip. The AA icons are miss leading. They say imbue missile. In my language missile means any shot or possibly thrown object. I think they need to change the wording to eliminate confusion or make it so crossbows and maybe thrown weapons can use the effect also. Again thanks.

    Yeah, they kicked me in the quiver with my Heavy Repeater using AA Ranger when they made that change...*sigh*

    They specifically took it AWAY from Crossbows, so I wouldn't expect it to come back. Better descriptions always help though.

    There was a time when the imbue force effect worked w/ throwing weapons...but they since fixed that

    Yeah that is too bad. I guess that suggest they really want to limit ranged damage in particular. Which seems odd considering all the complaints about ranged being underpowered. Maybe that wasn't so much so with the repeaters though?... But they did nerf thrown also and in my opinion that is already Nerf'd so that is odd. Thanks for the tip.

    it wasnt a nerf, it was a fix...arcane ARCHER, you know

    and yes, repeaters with slaying arrows would be way overpowered (oh you see, it says arrow, not bolts )

    Default Ranged fixes

    Well yeah auto cross bow would obviously be over powered with the AA enhancements (slayer arrow) but what I am saying is they seriously need to consider some benefit to thrown weapons or even the non auto-cross bows.

    I personally feel the +25% ranged attack speed for the ranger capstone needs to be an option for all ranged to take at around level 4 or 6 except the auto crossbows. That and the shabby fact that the ranger capstone is actually only a 12% bonus to ranged alacrity needs to be fixed also.

    An in place of the +25% ranged attack speed capstone at (yeah why level 20? whats the point might as well just play melee till 20 and then re-cert) instead put something for a capstone like faster running speed or maybe bonus to crit range ect.

    lets go Hrepeater w/slayers and a manyshot too whilst we are at it that would make a mech the UBER DPS build and I would play 1.
