    Default Changes to Elf Arcane Fluidity

    One of the things mentioned in the new release notes is that the Elf racial enhancement line to reduce Arcane Spell Failure has been changed to (among other things) dramatically reduce the cost.

    I like the change. But something got overlooked:

    Drow Elves have an identical line of racial enhancements, but the Drow version never got updated. Is this an intentional snub to the Drow or did this simply get missed in the scramble for release?

    Its updated on my drow, you need to reset your enhancements to get the new lines though, so that might be the problem.

    Yes.
    Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

    Shields are grouped with heavy armors though, so they are a tad more pricey, starting at 6 ap for 10% if i'm not mistaken.

    You are mistaken. You'll need to reset your enhancements to take advantage of it, but the AP cost per tier is now 1. So all four tiers add up to 4 AP spent. Very cheap and I'm seriously considering going one of the races that has it for my wizard.

    I bought two tiers on my drow and it went 1,2,3,4; that was yesterday. Shield bonusses started at tier 3 which is 1+2+3=6 ap.

    Quoted from the release notes:

    Elven Arcane Fluidity is now a four tier enhancement that costs 1 AP per tier. The fourth tier is available at level 14. Characters that currently possess this enhancement will have to respec their enhancements to regain the additional action points freed up by this change.
    So either its bugged, or it just is worded really weird.

    The Original Elven Arcane Fluidity was 2 points per level:

    Arcane Fluidity I = 2 AP -5% to light armor
    Arcane Fluidity II = 4 AP -5% to light and medium armor
    Arcane Fluidity III = 6 AP -10% to light and medium armor
    ===================
    Total: 12 AP

    The New One is:

    Arcane Fluidity I = 1 AP
    Arcane Fluidity II = 2 AP
    Arcane Fluidity III = 3 AP
    Arcane Fluidity IV = 4 AP
    ===================
    Total: 10 AP

    Definitely a huge improvement.

    Don't recall the new one how it works, but you can look it up in the releases.
