    Lyndon B Johnson

Lyndon. B. Johnson as a Lieutenant Commander USNR. He was later promoted a Commandser in the Naval Reserve.

    Richard Nixon

One of the greatest minds of world politics in US presidential history was certainly Richard Nixon.

Richard Nixon was the ultimate rebel. Here he meets Elvis Presley and the "Memphis Mafia". What the public thought at the time was just a photo op, Nixon actually makes Presley an FDA Secret Agent. Of all the requests made each year to the National Archives for reproductions of photographs and documents, one item has been requested more than any other. That item, more requested than the Bill of Rights or even the Constitution of the United States, is the photograph of Elvis Presley and Richard M. Nixon shaking hands on the occasion of Presley's visit to the White House.

An intriguing coincidence, listening to the radio last night to a Jimmie Hendrix biography, that they mentioned this. Don't think I saw him mentioned yet.

    Jimmie Hendrix, 101st Airborne.
