It's updating

Nevermind, from what I research you have to have a Direct X 11 Compatable video card and it is the only way to get it, as part of the dirvers, meaning anyone without a Direct X 11 Card is no longer going to be able to play.

Like I stated once before, simple fix, just re-install your directx It will take less time and fix the problem.

Running windows 7, got "The program can't start because d3dx9_42.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." Update is only about .18GB so not too bad size wise.

Nevermind Scratch that, an error hit and I can't even log in.....I now have to redownload the entire client.

File d3dx9_42.dll is what is missing, is there a work around where I don't have to spend 20 hours redownloading the client?

PS: as long as your Launcher still opens you can try to access the launcher menu behind the [v] icon and select 'Options'->'Repair'. maybe that solve this issue.

I also noticed that I came around my issue by increasing the download maximum to 512kb/s
