    Default Pure Fighter Kensai III build and Equipment guide for Fighters

    This thread is started with one reason. To act as a guide for new players wanting to build a fighter with high DPS and to all others who get lost along the way on finding which equipment is best fitting their fighter builds.

    Having that in mind i am posting my Fighter build and i kindly request not only your feedback about the build but as well your proposals for the early - medium - and endgame equipment such a build should have (that includes epic as well).

    I hope you all like this effort i make. Please help to make such guides for all new and old palyers who would like to play a fighter.

    i think this looks good i have a cleric as my main an been wanting to find a good fighter type build and i just found it. thanks

    This. I usually just skip build planner posts unless they are posted by someone who has specifically asked me to look at it.

    The other thing is once you do look at it, its a fairly straight forward build. 20 fighter horc. Max str, not quite max con (which I would do with this build. The points in the other stats dont really buy you enough to be worth it, but thats just me) kensai III and lots of toughness.

    Builds like this have been run to cap countless times, many vets know how it will perform. Its simply more of the same, thats all.

    Your feat progression is a little wonky. Move Greater Weapon Focus up to 16, take Improved Critical at 8, move Superior Weapon Focus to 18. Drop Luck of Heroes, take Quick Draw instead. Otherwise, it looks like a good general build.

    The way I did it on my fighter was this:

    1) Toughness, THF
    2) WF: Slashing
    3) Toughness
    4: WS: Slashing
    6) Toughness, ITHF
    8) Imp. Crit
    9) Toughness
    10) Power Attack
    12) GWS: Slashing, GTHF
    14) Quick Draw
    15) Toughness
    16) GWF: Slashing
    18) SWF: Slashing, Toughness
    20) Stunning Blow

    But YMMV... some people like Power Attack earlier, I however find that mobs in low levels die fast enough that it's not really needed.
