Howdy,
I am a new DDO player, been playing for about 2 and a half weeks or so now and really enjoying it thus far and have decided I want to try and find a guild. I'd like to find one that fits what I want/need rather then just accept one of the 20 or so random guild invites I get everyday because I'm not in a guild.
That being said, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction of which guild to gravitate to. Naturally, i'm looking for something noob friendly but with knowledgeable people that can help me understand the game better. I've mostly been soloing, with the help of hirelings etc yadda yadda, not that much grouping yet and what little i've done seems a bit confusing because everything is going so fast without giving the new guy a chance to catch/keep up.
I'm open to suggestions, if you happen to be reading this and think your guild might not be good for me but you know of one that might be just gimme a name of someone to talk to.
P.S. Currently playing a 6 rog/1 ftr, am VIP so I have all the available content I think though i'm certain I haven't even scratched the surface yet. I have many years of experience of being in "End Game" guilds across many MMO's (WoW/EQ/DAoC/Shadowbane are the big one's I spent a lot of time in) so i'm familiar with the setting - primarily looking for a place where I can level my character and spec him to be good enough to fit in somewhere or to create a character to fit a niche in a solid group.
Current available playtimes are generally 4-10 P.M. PST, and just about anytime on the weekends.
