    Default Fix Enter the Kobold

This quest is a nightmare for pugging ...

The end fight is tough enough without the Boss being able to CHEAT!!

The fact that he stood on this fake ledge for about 20 seconds before dropping down while the entire party could do NOTHING is a joke and a main reason for failure in this quest ...

The developers have announced changing that aspect, and also making ETK easier by removing Living Spells on Normal mode.

However, Desaga can also cheat in a separate way: he leashes and heals for full if he steps into the hallway, which he may decide to do on his own due to using a caster AI.

    Default I like it tough

Please keep some quests a ridiculous pain. Make us humble knowing that there are quests where no matter who or what you are, you can and will be owned.

I like knowing a quest exists like this. People that run it are one of two things, serious players and you now you will complete. Or players that have never ran the quest before, ever.

But like you say, in a PUG, after one death people will bug out. Fine. You added some quitters to your list of players not to play with again. But you meet some players that say, "Who wants to try again?" Bam, you now know of a player that won't quit.

Run down and die, back to the shrine. Rinse repeat.

    End quest.

I survived the scary events in 2009, 2010, and 2011. 2011 did not reward those that played by the rules.

Why can't this be achieved by hard and elite mode?

Can you explain how people who are unwilling to headbutt their way through a bugged fight/quest are "quitters"?

Recent quest nerfings may have been caused by noob crying but truth is forming a group to either of them was more difficult than advertised.

For example on Tear of Drakkan you wanted to have a full balanced party, people didn't join if you had the wrong types.
Now there's more room for mistakes and thus won't matter who you bring too much as long as there's enough effort.

For the quest 'Reenter the Kobold' it was pugged on casual and still could end up in wipe if you let the living meteor be.

Thus no matter it is entirely doable people would still do it only once to flag the first time and forget about it, which leads to fewer experts, more pugging and less groups for it.
Both the fix to the buggy kobold and the removal of the meteor should be enough to make it sane without being too easy.

Shame on you for blaming the floating kobold.

The picture clearly shows why you failed.

That Ranger Subdue is to blame. Seriously look at the layout of the hot bars

As others have mentioned, it has been announced as fixed for Mod 7. But I must question why a party with 2 rangers and a sorcerer couldn't do anything to a perched foe? 20 seconds on the ledge seems like just the right amount of time for manyshot....
