Hey there

After a bit of starting problems, we've launched the Rusty's on Ghallanda.

We are a European based founders guild, this means we have several years of experience in gimping our characters and dying in spectacular ways. At Ghallanda we are 4 active european players atm, so we are a small guild, but we want to bring in a few more likeminded individuals.

Our history shows that even a guild filled with chaos, no real ruleset, no sense of leadership and full of drunken adults behaving like ten year olds can compete with the powergaming guilds. We were the first on our server to complete raids on elite, usually in a top position on first completion and we were generally recognised as somewhat competent players. We used to host several server events, something i'd like to attempt here as well if we manage to get a good guild community going.

Event's we've hosted include

- Hide 'n Seek in Stormreach
- Fastest completion of Kobolds Island
- Which 5 member team (last spot is for guild observer) can compete X quest the fastest

We gave out prices for all contests ofc, ranging from tome pages, raid loot, tomes and scales.

In short, we try to have fun in everything.

If you can see the fun in the following

- archieving something difficult
- wiping in a most interesting way
- doing something, just because (like naked raids)
- are an adultish kind of person

well.. the Rusties might be a guild for you

so far we are lvl 7 as the highest member, but leveling slowly. This will change once our european chars get here and we can start raiding aswell as helping our low level members with funds and twinks (and a guild ship will be bought at that time as well). but untill then we're looking for lower level players.

I'm sorry to hear that the Rusty Nails are dying.

With a little nostalgy, i have to share something with you. I play in a static casual group that has begun to quest for a few months. I was young and i heard a dwarf brother yelling at the market place.
I went to him and he gave me some weapons, far beyond my level, and some gold, more than i ever seen before, except in the white dragon's lair...

I formed a guild after his name : Nordic's Legacy. This guild stayed in Europe when the Devourer finally ended to eat himself.

But i remember my good start in Stormreach with all the gifts he shared to celebrate his retiring. I know i will do the same when my time has come.

Ah, I remember the days when I was a Rusty. Unfortunately I moved to Cannith before a server for the EU transfers were finalized so that is where I am.
