    Arrow Why Kukan-Do?

I think the devs are trying to make monks tougher in PvP.

When would you be able to use Kukan-Do on a worthwhile monster in PvE?

Will that monster even be stunnable?

Does anyone have the time to generate that much ki to stun them from a distance while in a quest?

Most monks melee so I can only see this ability as something that will work like this:

Monks sit on ledge, gathering ki... Hop down, stun you, run up and begin beating on you. PvP.

My suggestion is to add things people won't complain about but they'll actually use in PvE.

I'm sorry that you suck so hard at this game you need to attempt to get light monks nerfed.

And casters already do this in PW:S. Get over yourself.

I believe someone mentioned in one of your previous threads that they expected you to start a Nerf Kukan-Do thread.

Since those same Monks could just hop down, smack you with a Stunning Fist and then beat on you while you're in a permanent stun lock, I don't see what the big deal is for Kukan-Do. Hopefully for your benefit, most Monks are Zen enough that they don't hang out in PvP's e-peen contest.

It's kind of unfortunate that you place such high value on PvP in this game since PvP is so clearly biased in favor of casters and a couple of niche character builds and building to "win" PvP also means gimping yourself for quests and vice versa.

Its use in PvE is that as you charge a group, you can stun one as you approach. this a very useful because you can stun a caster to remove him from a fight whilest you beat up his friends, or stun a melee because he hits hard.

One last point: PvP in this game is unbalanced, and always will be. This is because this game is balanced around PvE. As the PvE world changes and evolves, the power balance (scratch that, power imbalance) of PvP can shift rapidly. So please don't call for PvP based nerfs, this game isn't based on PvP. Just suck it up and try other methods of attack.

Ok, let me try to explain this again:

Will that monster even be stunnable?Assuming this can be used in epics, most monsters you'd use this against (Ie Enemy Casters or melee if they hit hard) would be stunnable

Does anyone have the time to generate that much ki to stun them from a distance while in a quest?Heck yes, just beat the stuffing out of the last encounter.

Most monks melee so I can only see this ability as something that will work like this: Yes, Monks Melee, but if you'd go anywhere outside the PvP pits, you'd know the next bunch of mobs don't just charge you while you stand still, (well, not most quests) This ability is meant more as an opening attack as you charge your opponents.

Monks sit on ledge, gathering ki... Hop down, stun you, run up and begin beating on you. PvP. If you think its so bad in PvP, why not try asking the same light monk to cast Grasp of the Earth Dragon on you?

My suggestion is to add things people won't complain about but they'll actually use in PvE. It shall be used in PvE. I know my light monk will use it alot. The only one complaining about it is you, and that's just because you cry to the forums whenever someone kills you

How is it possible that you can still post without approval from a mod?

    Thumbs up

Oh, man - this post made me laugh. Really truly did. I'm almost tempted to give h4x some rep for the chuckle...

I mean, I get it now. This has all been some kinda Joaquin Phoenix/I'm Still Here level sham - it has to be. Nobody can say all these things and mean it , so it's gotta all be one big joke. Now that I see it for what it is... these posts are just pure comic gold. We just all happen to be the audience for his own personal Letterman gig. One big, beautiful put-on - and we are lucky enough to see it live.

    Brilliant, say I!
