    Arrow Fix Meteor Swarm? :'(

If y'all didn't know, sorcerers lose a meteor when using Meteor Swarm with Quicken on.

When you take Quicken off, you get the correct number of meteors again.

This issue used to be a lot worse but I bug-reported it and they made it not-so-bad in Update 5.

Still, I would like to get full damage from my spells when using Quicken like the wizards do.

P.S. Frost Lance only has 2 lances instead of 3 with Quicken on, as a sorcerer.

I only get 3 swarms with meteor swarm, and 2 lances with frost lance on my wizard with quicken on.

Interesting. The wizard friends I had testing their's didn't have that issue I figured it was just sorcerers because they cast faster.

Well all the more reason to get it fixed, then. Quicken shouldn't lessen your damage!

madfloyd said they will fix comet fall and moving mobs (so you still hit them even if they moved from the spot of impact)
maybe that gets fixed with that too...seems like the animation wont have any impact (hehe) anymore, its just a visual thing and the mob just gets the damage

Wow, I'll have to find where that was listed. That sounds like a pretty amazing nerf to players' ability to survive many situations, such as the first room of epic Rayium!

It seems fairly ******** to even take quicken on a sorcerer.

So if you throw Cometfall at a dude running around he'll get hit by it no matter how fast he was going or far he went since the spell was cast? It would be interesting to see the comet fall at them at an angle and stuff.

As AD said... if you can hit the mobs while they are moving, they can hit us while moving. Considering how fast mobs can spam cast, it does not seem like a good thing.
