I was lucky enough to get one of these from the Eye of the Titan quest. The only problem is that it seems to be incredibly fragile and ends up broken far more than any other trinket or item.

Is it normal for this trinket to be so fragile ?

Yeah it's supposed to be that fragile. It has SUPER low durability. Your best bet is to bind it and do some adamantine rituals on it.

When its so powerful, yes.

Go collect some Addy Ore, and some Soul Gems : Essence of Earth, and give it the Addy Ritual. Good times.

After a couple Adamantine Rituals I don't really have trouble keeping it equipped.

In contrast, the bloodrage symbiont which had far more hardness would break on me far more. I wonder if it is because it contains a DR/- component.

Anyway, you should be alright using it after a few rituals. You are a wizard, so it shouldn't be too hard for you the collect the materials for the rituals.

I put double adamantine ritual on mine and at worst it loses maybe 3 durability in a quest, if that even. Most of the time i can survive a quest without it taking any damage at all.
