Default A few ideas to perk up VIP Status?

First off, I'm a Premium member, I don't actually plan on going VIP now, in the next few months, or if I can help it ever. Grinding Favor for TP is one of my side interests in the game and part of what keeps me interested, and I want to keep it that way.

Now then, here's a list of the current VIP Features for comparison:
    *500 TP/month free
*Access to Warforged and Monk for Free
    *Access to All Quests
    *10 Free Character slots
    *Shared Bank
    *Priority Login
    *1 hour idle logout
    *Full Customer Service
    *High Beta Priority

all in all not a bad list of features, but for 15 bucks a month something's missing imho. Here are a few features I think should also be thrown into the VIP feature pack:

    1. small discount off all cash shop items
-yes I know VIP's already effectively get 500 points of free cash shop items, but what if that's not enough for what they want to buy? Several popular items in the cash shop are way more than 500 points. Now I'm not saying a HUGE discount like 20% or something, but say a 5% discount off all Cash shop items would be nice. As a bonus it makes VIP's more inclined to buy Turbine Points since they can get a little more for their money.

    2. VIP chest loot
-When opening a chest at the end of the game, most players enjoy a set of loot pulled from their class list for that chest. With this in effect, VIP's would get to pull 2 sets of loot. One set from their class list for that chest and a second set from their class list for that chest 1 level higher. This level bonus stacks with any and all cash shop items of course, gives them more reason to spend TP at the shop :P.

    3. Discount on Feat Swaps from Fred
-Normally Fred's prices get a little...high when you get up there in level. For Premium and F2p, yea we pretty much deserve to pay the cost :P we're getting what can be a free ride with everything else! For VIP, not so much. They pay 15 bucks a month to play the game so I figure they deserve to be able to edit their character for somewhat less than us. Cut the price by 10-15% but no change to the cash shop prices for feat swap items, anyone who can't find a few million perfect siberys dragonshards before they hit level 20 ain't lookin' >>

    4. VIP specific lottery
-A lottery only for VIP members, at the start of each month (or week if it'd be better), each VIP account gets submitted into a special lottery. The winner recieves one of three prizes (by their choice):
    1. Turbine Points
    2. A bonus 10% to all exp earned for one full day of playing (
*the timer is universal and doesn't activate while their offline. (12 hours on toon 1 + 12 hours on toon 2 = done)
    3. A bonus +1 to all loot earned for one full day of playing. (stacking with cash shop items)
    *same timer as exp bonus
    Home Server: Cannith
I am broccolli, and I am a vampire, 'nough said.
I farm TP on cannith, my goal is the Vault, Vale, and Gianthold, send me a pm on the forums if you wanna join

Most of those ideas sound TOO good for a VIP. I don't mind the cheaper feat swaps though.

Cheaper prices on DDO store items might be a good incentive to be a VIP.

I think as the game goes on, and more content is added, VIP will naturally become a better and better deal. In Update 7, VIPs get 2 new races for free, while everyone else has to pay for them. They also get the ability to open Elite difficulty right away. That's a pretty nice convenience item.

VIPs don't really get higher beta priority. They just can open the new quests and play them ahead of time.

Or, they already get everything in the game, for less initial output than premium people that buy everything in the game, such as me. Buying everything *should* be like a lifetime sub (though you do have to keep buying new packs when they come out if you want them). If too big of an advantage is given to VIPs, which is unobtainable to premium accounts, who have already spent a year+ worth of subscription just to get to the same point VIPs are at with their first low $15, then that really isn't any more fair.
People keep coming in here and saying that "VIPs don't get enough, it doesn't seem very VIPish", I can see where they are coming from if they take VIP literally, but if they think they are getting so little, then just downgrade to premium and drop your year+ sub's worth of money on adventure packs.
VIPs are renting the content that premium can purchase kindof. They get a few bonuses, such as if the server is full (which hasn't happened since a week after F2P came out, the bug where it says its full is just a bug) they go to the front of the queue, and they get earlier access to stuff, can open stuff on hard right away, none of which premium can get. That seems like more than enough.

If you're playing for 10 months or more, premium is the better buy. Just as a quick reference. >.>
