    Default Stunning Fist Gone

Now that Stunning Fist is gone what are you swapping out, or was it even worth taking? I am new to the monk world and saw that a lot of builds use this feat.

its not gone you just have to swap it with a feat that is the same lvl requirement think it has to be chosen before you get past lvl 3

It is only worthwhile if you can maintain a WIS over 30 on a Monk 20.

For Multiclassed Monks, it's a waste.

    Toughness.

This is most certainly not true. Since the Stunning fix in update 5, SF is viable even without committing much at all into Wisdom. My 17 WF Monk with a 12 starting WIS and a 20 currently has a DC of 35 with Stunning +10 HW, and will have a 38 once he gets to 20 and has a +2 tome to eat.

A 38 DC lands pretty well even in endgame content, and with the nerf to epic trash saves, I've also heard that it works reasonably well in Epic content.

Default 42 DC Stunning Fist with WIS 30

My 20th Level Dwarven Monk has a 42 DC (Difficulty Check) Stunning Fist using +10 Wraps, 30 Wisdom, with +2 Dwarven Tactics.

It lands about 90% to 95% of the time... So I dont see a problem with this feat.

Not true at all.. I use both Stunning Blow and Stuning fist on my 12/6/2 build even

    10 +6(1/2Monk Levels) + 8 WIS +10 Of Stunning +1 Fighter Tactics =35 DC
Not 100% but it Doublestrikes a lot for 2 tries pls I have a 35+ Stunning blow to back it up.

Its definitely worth taking instead of a second Toughness feat.

    What? Stunning Fist gone? How?

As others have said, you dont have to have a 30+ Wis to have it work. My Wis sits at a 26 and with +10 Stunners I stun all the time and pretty reliably.

I still seem to have it on my monk...... Did you drag it off your hot bar? If so check your char. sheet look under feats and re-aply it to your hot bar.

I *think* you have to use one of your monk feats to obtain it.

    It's a monk feat only takeable at monk lvl's 1,2 and 6.

yes you can use fred to change out a class feat taken at lvl 1,2 or 6 to pick it up.

It's only selectable as a Monk bonus feat at levels 1, 2 and 6. Won't show up for your other feat slots...IE Lvl 1, 3 6, 9 (etc..) general feat.

You don't get it automatically, you have to choose it as one of the bonus feats a monk gets, which are only at specific levels.

Edited to add: Wow, I must be a slow typer.

Thanks for the input. I will look for it at 6. I rolled a veteran Monk lev 4 and did not see it at the other levels. I bet I passed over it at 1 and 2. Thanks again.
