    Default Pale Master Knight Pet

Easily the worst pet out of the set.

The Archer and mage have some use even if the archer is low damage... the knight just seems to dance about and do nothing.

I suggest having the knight be more aggressive and attack more.

Also, a dismiss summon would be nice.

The Pale Master Knight works with the Summoned Monster script I believe :/ which means it has the same weak AI that the Scorpion has. The only real way to fix this is to give all of the Summon AI scripts a major revamp (and maybe add pathfinding and pathtracing to them so they stop running into walls >> ...then again that's kinda funny :3 lol)

A summon monster revamp would be nice too.

I never see any of the knights hitting...yet they ALWAYS have aggro. It's amazing.

Yeah I know. It's strange how they always have aggro but they never hit anything because they're too busy dancing about.

Granted I don't have a Pale Master yet, but wasn't the "hopping around" supposed to have been tweaked or fixed in Update 5? Looking through the release notes I found this:

The effectiveness of Pale Master skeletons have been improved. Skeletal Knights have received the bulk of the improvements. All Skeletal Knights (not just the summons) no longer hop in place before attacking.

So it either needs the complete removal of the hopping-in-place or it needs to be tweaked again or bug reported...

It's not hopping around... it's more like sidestepping... FOREVER

I haven't used this in the new version, (2 action points away) but figured it was fixed. I would really like to see this fixed and the skelie attack like the other skelies. But until they do, I guess I'll keep using command undead, since the spell is still far more reliable.

Sometimes he dances, sometimes he works pretty decently.

I've had the skelleton solo various critters and judging by the HP bar his damage isn't all that bad. It just gets into odd animation cycles depending on the range to the target or something like that.

I like that it pulls agro pretty decently and is fairly durable. Its my default much of the time when I just want cannon fodder. The mage is my favorite but in some quests his ranged spells can cause issues so I don't pull him out.

that means that's its doing a good job. if a mob is hitting a knight that means its not hitting a player. and the knight is easy to replace.

maybe that's what the fix was. they just strapped on an argo magnet and bam, it can now do what it was meant to do.
