Do Plane of Night Pillars have DR/-?

My level 11 Lord of Blades FvS barely scratched the VON6 pillars on Normal w/ a +4 shocking burst greatsword. That's not the greatest gear but I couldn't even take them down in the time limit. My fighter used to take them down like tissue paper when he was that level. Normally, I'd put the FvS's DPS at 25-40% of the fighter's but here it was grossly exaggerated - maybe 5-10%. Is there some DR on those pillars to account for the huge DPS difference? If so, is it bypassed by anything?

Since we were 4 manning, I figured we'd sliver the pillars as much as possible but they kept self-destructing about 10 seconds after going below ~10-15% even when nobody swung at them after that point. WAI? If so, what's the cutoff you can leave them at safely?

At caster level 11, I expected my resists to block 30 but they only blocked 20 from the elementals at the 3 bases - even for elements I'd taken the stacking 10 for at levels 5 and 10. Did I read the combat log wrong or is something odd going on there?

I may have missed the answers to these questions in my search of the forums and DDOWiki. We completed successfully eventually but I felt pretty useless in that final encounter. Any answers or links you could provide would help me a lot. Thank you.

That does follow the theme of the VON5 boss and the greatsword from that raid. I'll try that next time I'm off timer and hopefully it will help.

Does anybody have any idea how much DR/adamantine it is on the different difficulty levels?
