Default will this build work end game?

so hey all I have quit the game a few months ago and now decided to come back and I felt like making a battle mage so here is what i'm thinking about:

    dwarf

    14 STR
    10 DEX
    14 CON
    18 INT
    8 WIS
    6 CHA

    all level ups to INT

feats (not according to the level selected)

    toughens
    argument summoning
    mental toughens
    spell focus necromancy
    greater spell focus necromancy
    power attack
    improved critical bludgeon
    empower
    maximize
    extend
    heighten
    quicken

    enchantments

necromancer line (including all summons+both forms) 21 points
extra SP up to level 3 6 points
    extra int 10 points
    all fire/cold enchantments lines(empower+crit chance+ crit modifier) 22 points
    racial toughens 3 points
    con 6 points
    capstone 2 points

total 70 which means I need to find a place to put the other 10

spells: pretty much every thing I can get my hands on

the idea behind this build is that it can fully function as a spell caster (though without spell penetration) and still can go into undead form with some buffs and go into melee mode

so what do you say will it be good endgame?

If you are going for a melee arcane spellcaster and you didn't pick WF as your race, then the rest doesn't matter.(And yes, there are problems with the rest of the build, such as not leveraging axe enhancements on a dwarf, focusing on summons which aren't useful endgame, etc) The advantages of a self-healing WF arcane far outstrip any other race for this concept. There are several good WF builds that you can search for on the boards to get started, so I would suggest checking those out.

Yuvben(Halfling Rogue), Acana(Drow Sorcerer), Walket(Human Cleric), Mahoukami (WF Wizard), Knicapper(Horc Fighter), Pyetr(Human Bard), Mazinger (WF Barb), and Belcar(Halfling Ranger).

actually I have read a few warforged builds but the truth is I can't stand seeing a warforged

about the axe enchantments why should I take them? i'm not using axes and any way wizards don't have martial weapons so they don't get to use dwarven axes any way (and ya I checked it ingame)

Master's Touch & Greataxe are your friends here.

Of course, WF really is the way to go.

    Cheers,

You mentioned melee, so what were you planning on hitting things with, a heavy mace? As stated above, the Master's Touch spell will give you proficiency with any single weapon, and the dwarven axe enhancments work on any axe, so a great axe would be your best bet for damage.

As it stands, I think you would really be better off finding an existing build if you want something viable endgame. If you really want a dwarf, a dwarven cleric would likely be a much better combo than wizard. There's a lot more synergy there, even if you would have to multiclass to get axe proficiency.

I was planning on using fists when in undead form and Qstaff when not but axes sound more bad ass and I never thought of it so ty for that and now I found where to spend my 10 remaining AP and if you can link me to a build where I don't splash or multi class and dont get 5 levels to STR then sure I will use it (this is more of a concept build than a cookie cutter or min max build) and I prefer to die before making a dwarven cleric (or any cleric for that matter )

and ya I know I'm annoying and hard to satisfy

A concept build can be fun, but not every concept build will be viable end game. This is one that probably won't be. What do you have against clerics, since it would be much more effective for the goals you are trying to achieve on this character?

Attacking things other than slimes while unarmed with no monk levels (and expecting to do more than tickle) is a horrible idea. Undead form or not.

As for race Dwarfs are the best don't listen to these guys...

Take your 2 points out of DEX and put it into CON to give you 16...

Never done a Pale Master, but it sounds cool...

    Good luck and have fun!

It might work, but you need to adjust your expectations.

You won't be a "fully functioning spellcaster" without spell penetration. Almost everything has spell resistence in the end-game. Your buffs and pure damage will be ok, but pure damage is pretty lost cause on wizards.

Your melee will be unimpressive. You won't do very good damage... you can try calculating the dps, but I don't see it breaking 150 dps or so even with ideal gear, which is about 30-40% of a regular melee build.

You will also not be able to heal yourself well, and may suck down mana from your healer. If you are undead, you can't even by healed by your healer, and you will take damage too fast in melee range to rely on necro abilities.

I don't see this build being viable, but you are welcome to level one up and prove us all wrong.

ty for the info I didn't expect great melee damage from the first place but as long as I can a mob or two using melee I'm happy but isn't spell penetration feats just +2 spell penetration I can just add to the enchantments can't I?

and about healing will this is a tough part but I guess I will buy lots of potions for normal form and on undead form I dunno really but if I'm not wrong cause wounds spells function as healing to undead right? I can purchse a bunch of those if they are available for purchase

I prefer FVS myself and while cleric can be fun most of the time I get stuck healing cuz I don't wanna let the group down
