Because his dr goes up with the difficulty setting. and the extra 3d6 from greater bane doesnt compensate.

+ the silver bow is keen and 1d10 so its in no way redundant I still use it and cold arrows in dq1/2.

Thanks for the info guys, meh well I took a gamble 5k plat is pocket change, will have to stick to the holyburst silver light pick in the off hand.
