    I've been there as well on a light monk built for party utility rather than max dps. It's really just a tipping point thing - once your dps gets to a certain point the fight becomes trivial. If you can't get to that point it's impossible. The right weapon in this case almost always makes enough difference to tip things in your favor. Oh, almost forgot - force damage works on it as well. My weapon I've used for awhile is a force burst of greater chaotic outsider bane and it works like a charm.

It is like going to a museum and bragging about how fast you made it through. Or bragging about how fast you finished a good steak.

    When I heal shroud, I use Mass Heal exclusively. If somebody is too squishy to survive that, I have no intention of keeping them alive anyway. If that means a wipe, so be it - at least I didn't blow through mana pots spamming mass cures that cost more SP and heal for less.

    Lol. Please build a Cleric/Fvs before such statements. Thats the most inefficient way to Heal through a Shroud. Mass Heal heals more points for less sp then every Mass cure. It is by far the most efficient Masshealing available.

    My Dwarf Cleric soloheals Shrouds with ease. Standing in melee with his aura and simply spamming Mass Heal. Boring but easy. And if there are 250hp squishys, well they die. But thats not my Problem. I dont use Ressources in a Pug just to save some people unable to build a decent toon.

    @OP
    0 of 10. All failed Shrouds i have seen were caused due to mistakes made by players or people simply not ready. Like the Pug i healed into the 4th round in p4 and Harry was still above 1/3 hp. In this run two people were directly instagibbed. One of those two was a Paladin.

    I will never understand why people build characters with Con 6

    I've healed your butt many times in shrouds and never bothered with mass heals and I don't run out of mana or use pots.

    why every shroud that fails, fails due to lag... never because of poor play or anything player related

    Thanks for the encouragement here. We had a disconnect of the other healer in a Shroud so I was pushed into duty solo-healing p2-p5 on my level 20 human sovereign host fvs. It was blindly easy...honestly p2 was the hardest once everyone split up...that's just a pain having to cover people around all those corners. I ran through about 2800sp's on p4 but I was overhealing quite a bit...I knew I had the sp's to stretch it so I was doing empower healing and quicken on my mass heals and also had maximize and empower both on for when I did my mass cures (have two of them to cover cd's). I don't think anyone ever got below 60% as I simply wasn't willing to chance it. I kept my target on the boss so I could watch his health and only switched to hit people running lower than everyone else with my capstone (which really has some punch when you're running an ardor vi clicky, maximize, empower, and empower healing).

    P5 was a complete joke (though it'll be a lot harder once they fix tendon slice). I ran through *maybe* 1300sp's. I overhealed for a little bit but once I realized how not dangerous he was I used capstone to top people off and only started casting heal when he got toward the end of his casting animation.

    If I'd been outside of the healing radius that would have been much harder. Any damage I took would have meant scrambling to heal that and then getting back to masses (since if I die it'd be a wipe). With me in range and having hp's comparable to everyone else the only people I had to worry about were the casters and the rogues.
