some of your skills are useless (like heal - completely not used)

I would put at least one point into tumble, maybe some jump too

Your enhancements are also not too optimum. You don't need any concentration enhancements. And you maxed out force but not fire/ice? Are you planning to be predominantly using magic/force missile? As a new player I would recommend you max out fire/ice line and their crit lines. Wall of fire and ice storm (in update 7) will be your go to damage over time spells.

I didn't have much time so I just skimmed through it. Will come back and post some more comments later.

    Edit:

    Feats:

Diehard feat is pretty bad mid/endgame. There are better feats for a wiz like toughness. Eschew materials is also worthless. So is combat casting. So is skill focus concentration. Enlarge is meh imo. Augment summoning I can't comment on but I was not under the impression you were a pale master/summoner.

Your metamagics are all out of whack. You chose heighten first? Also no empower or maximize. Those two are must haves. Also extend is a must. Extend and maximize should be the first two metas you take. You also have no spell pen enhancements or feats. You will rarely land anything outside of evocation spells at end game.

    Enhancements:
    Lose concentration
    Lose wand mastery
    Lose Wizard Int III
    Pick up fire/cold line

This is just my opinion and I am by no means an expert on WF Wiz, I have one capped but Im still trying to figure out endgame.

First thing, dont waste any points on Cha, you dont need it, you wont use it.

You need to get some toughness in you, lvl 20 with less that 150hp is going to get you killed quickly and often.

Max intelligence, take the 2pts you put into charisma and put them on con. My lvl 20 wiz has an unbuffed int of 36 including tomes and +6 item.

I wouldnt put pts in listen, search, spot. Balance is good, i throw extra pts in jump, a couple into tumble, UMD at 10.5 at lvl 20 will do you no good.

Should take toughness as one of your first feats. Get extend a little earlier, helps with buffs FW etc. I wouldnt worry about enlarge or discipline, i would grab a spell focus in necromancy if your going to use FOD and Wail, or enchantment for hold monster/person etc.

I didnt do anything with wand and scroll mastery, WF get reconstruct as a spell and that should get you 150hp per shot, you can always help heal the WF in the party, clerics and FVS love you for that.

I guess I should have prefaced this whole thing with what is your aim/ direction with this toon, nuker, buffer or something else.

Lastly you need toughness, hp are good.
Enjoy yourself your time on earth is very short.

All Kyber toons - Xirthax (Paladin) : Xirth (Wizard) : Xirthtrix (Fighter) : Xorthtrox(Monk)

Here is my WF Wiz: http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=239301

As people in that thread stated, lose 2 dex points and either put them into strength or wisdom. The rest is pretty good.

Look at wizard builds here http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=232660

You will want metamagic feats: quicken, maximize, empower, extend, heighten. Drop Eschew materials and if you are not going pale master drop Augment Summoning too.

Mental toughness and improved mental toughness is nice for wizard. You need toughness or you wont be able to survive in end game, also put stats from dex and charisma to constitution (16 starting CON).

But it would be best for you, to use one of the tihocan's build. You will find some useful tips how to play a wizard there and advice what spell to take when you level up.

Sorry, missed the elemental manipulations. I still think force manipulation 4 is overboard though.

I didn't take wiz int 3 because my final stat breakout would be 18 +5 level + 2 capstone + 2 tome, +6 item, +3 exceptional = 36. A +3 tome and LotD would push it to 38. I didn't expect to really ever get a +4 int tome on him but if I did, I would redo enhancements and pick up wiz int 3. Other than the +4 tome the other items are all relatively easily acquired, which is what I planned for.

Also, the way I did enhancements didn't really leave much room for 6 ap to spend on int 3. I would also drop lineage of force, and deadly lineage of force. With the extra APs I'd pick up as much toughness enhancements I could get and some spell pen. You can also consider improved metamagics and possibly one or two ranks of scroll mastery for when you need reconstruct a WF tank in raids.
