Booted from the game

Error message: "You have been booted from the game because you are logged into the server "server name here"

I play on two servers. When I log into one and play, then log off and log onto the other one, I will be on for about 10 minutes anf I will get booted with this error message. Somehow the game thinks I have logged onto a different server, or thinks I am still logged into the last server.

This is continuing to happen. If I am on server A for 10 minutes it will boot me saying I logged onto server B and vice versa.

I have rebooted, and only have one instance of the game open.

I have also changed my password.

I have had a trouble like that too since UPDATE6
It will say out of nowhere I just log on to a differnt server. a few times in a row
I went and changed my passwords and it seemed to stop, but I'm also having other troubles with logging on to DDO too.

You know what, it's getting worse, I got booted like 5 times in a row now saying connect on to another server while I'm on.
I have rested my passwords a few times now.
This needs to be adressed.

This started to happen to me today. And my wifes account has had it happen to her today also. Seems like a lot of others are having this problem too, so I don't see it being someone getting your info.

Happened to me 3 times yesterday also. There are a couple of threads in General discussion about it but I wanted to chime in here also. I suspect it has something to do with the LotRO f2p launch. I linked my LotRO account to the Turbine account that has my DDO account. That's when I noticed the problem starting. I would be interested in knowing if the others having the problem were also trying LotRO.

I noticed that logging out of LotRO was a little different than logging out of DDO and so I wonder if some of the server protocols have gotten bit mixed up. It's just a theory but the timing fits.

Was running on Galanda and it booted me after ten minutes or so "because I was already logged on Argonnessen", even though I had just fired up the game. It's not an issue with having both LOTR and DDO accounts - I only have a DDO account. But now when I try to log back in, the game loading screen takes forever to get past "connect" and gets hung on "examine programs ... waiting".

I'd try the "reset your password" fix, except myaccount.ddo.com is not responding. Oh, and a lot of Turbine websites are down as well and seem to be loading only cached versions when they do load.

Maybe LOTR will work for me...

Happened again to me about 30 mins ago. Haven't changed password (stubborn I am) yet but if that's the fix I'll change it then change it back. Haven't tried the 'log in to new server log out then back in' thing yet but that might work also. I still think LotRO logout protocols are spilling over into DDO servers... again just a guess.
